How Are We Funded

Hospis Malaysia is not affiliated with any political, religious, governmental, or private groups. We depend almost entirely on donations from the public and corporate sector to fund our services. These funds are managed by the Council who delegate more detailed administrative governance to a Finance Sub-Committee. Currently, our operating expenses run at approximately RM 4 million a year, covering staff remuneration, training and education of staff, the cost of medicine and medical supplies, medical equipment and general administration.
