Palliative Care Education
Our educational programme covers 3 broad areas - the medical undergraduate programme , the nursing postgraduate programme and practical training for those working within Palliative Care and related specialties.
We provide Palliative Care teaching as part of the undergraduate curriculum for 4 medical schools from the following universities which gives the medical students exposure to Palliative Care even during their undergraduate days :-
- Universiti Malaya (UM)
- Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)

Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM)

Sedaya International University College
We also accept medical students doing their electives from these and other medical schools. This year, we have had elective medical students doing attachments with us from International Medical University (IMU), Aberdeen, Scotland. Nurses doing post basic courses in oncology from Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Hospital Sungai Buloh and Seremban also do attachments with Hospis Malaysia.
